2017 Golf-R in Oryx White with Black Leather Interior, DCC, 6-Speed Manual Transmission and 19k miles.
The Golf R is the latest in the high performance line offered by Volkswagen. Sharing the same basic body with the rest of the Golf line. The Golf is has repeatedly been on Car & Drivers 10-Best list and it’s clear to anyone who has driven one that it certainly belongs on that list. The Golf-R may share the same basic 2.0l-Turbocharged Direct Injected engine with it’s GTI brother, but with a completely different head, 292hp and 29 lb-ft of torque which is transferred to all four wheels through Volkswagens “4-Motion” Haldex All-Wheel Drive System. It certainly doesn’t feel anything like a regular GTI.
Along with the increased power and all-wheel drive system, the Golf-R is also equipped with the Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) system, which includes adaptive damping, firmer suspension tuning and 19″ wheels. Adding to the new DCC feature the Golf-R is also equipped with the Drivers Assistance package, which includes land departure warning, forward -collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and parking sensors.
This particular Golf-R is significantly low miles for a 2017. We purchased it directly from one of our service customers here at AZ Euros. Previously it was owned in California where it was a “Manufacturer Buyback” due to a software update which was remedied long ago.
